Big Five Personality Test
The five-factor model is the framework academic psychology actually uses to measure personality, and its resolution comes from the level beneath the factors: each of the five is built from six distinct facets. This assessment scores all thirty facets across one hundred and fifty questions, because two people with the same Extraversion score can be very different people, and the difference lives in the facets. Everything is scored in your browser, and nothing you answer is transmitted anywhere.
Reading your result
There is no good or bad end on any of these five scales; each pole is a different kind of talent with a different bill attached, and the interpretation under each factor names both. Read the facets before you settle on what a factor score means, because a high Extraversion built on warmth is a different life from one built on excitement-seeking. The Neuroticism score deserves one specific note: it measures the sensitivity of your alarm system, not the quality of your character, and a sensitive alarm is a source of information as much as a source of discomfort.

Because it was derived empirically — from the statistical structure of how personality language actually behaves across large populations — and it replicates across cultures, ages, and decades of research better than any competing model.
Are my answers stored anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Your birth data is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers — closing the tab erases it. The shareable result link encodes your inputs in the URL fragment, which browsers do not send to servers either.
What do the five traits and their facets tell me?
Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism — each scored here at the facet level, because two people with the same headline score can be built very differently underneath.

The items follow the public-domain IPIP (International Personality Item Pool) tradition, independently phrased and weighted for this instrument. No proprietary questionnaire is reproduced.
